Correction

Oops! The boat-making illustrations on page 102 are missing a step. Hopefully the addition of the following instructions will help ease your boat-making frustrations!

After you’ve folded your paper into the shape shown on the 6th illustration, lift one of the bottom flaps upwards so that it touches the tip of the folded point. Repeat with the flap on the other side. (You’ll end up with a triangle.)
Pick up the triangle. Tuck a thumb under each side point. Push your thumbs towards each other, causing the sides to come together. (You’ll have a diamond shape again!)
The shape you’re holding in your hand should look like the 7th illustration on page 102 of your leader’s guide.
Pull it open as shown in illustration #8 and presto, you’ve got a boat. Happy sailing!
